In July, Australian company Sayona Mining Ltd engaged us for a week long roadshow in China.
Sayona Mining is an ASX listed lithium exploration and development company currently developing the Authier Lithium Project in Quebec Canada. It is a near production project and a Definite Feasibility Study (DFS) is underway.
Dr Wei Qian, managing director worked alongside with a New York investment bank for organizing a fruitful roadshow by visiting and meeting major Chinese new energy material companies.
Sayona¡¯s Authier project is Located in a well-established mining district and surrounded by other successful lithium projects, the project has world class infrastructure making the running of the mine incredibly cost efficient. The mine is located within 5km low-cost power hydro power and gas, with 5km of sealed road access, and a 20km railway connects the project with an export port. As a result, power costs C$0.05/kWh, and gas is less than C$3.00/GJ.
Sayona¡¯s immediate plan is to produce 100,000 tons of Li20 at 6% concentrate rate from mid 2019.
