NTC business partner, George Yan, was invited by the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation to participate in a meeting with a high-level science and technology delegation from Tianjin, China on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Toronto Convention Centre (TBC).
Led by the Vice Governor of Tianjin Hebei District Government, the delegation is comprised of approximately 40 delegates, including government officials from Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, Foreign Experts Affairs and representatives from high-tech parks, incubators, and technology companies.
The delegation will represent Tianjin?¡¥s high growth technology SMEs to discuss collaboration opportunities in business development, joint research and commercialization/technology transfer. Meeting participants will be able to learn more about investment highlights, government policies and incentives related to research and commercialization cooperation, talent development, and other potential collaboration opportunities with Tianjin, one of the fastest growing cities in China.
Also, officials from the Tianjin government and their innovation partners (science parks, incubators & high-tech companies) will introduce market opportunities and investment focus in key sectors, including, ICT, life sciences and cleantech, etc.
At the same time, a panel will be set up for organizations which have developed collaboration cross-boarder relationship to share their practical experience related to collaboration benefits, answers will be given to questions raised by the participants.
